FORD FUSION HYBRID
The Ford Fusion Hybrid uses an innovative heads-up display that shows real-time power consumption. As you drive, small leaves in the dashboard - shown to the right of the picture below - will grow as you learn how to conserve energy by braking less and driving consistent speeds. The HUD has four levels of detail so you can tweak the settings to see just the speed and a few other "green tech" readings, or go full-on environmentalist to see your average miles-per-gallon.
TOYOTA SOLAR ROOF AND COROLLA ALTIS DESIGNED TO INSPIRE ENVY
Despite their woes with the sticking accelerator, Toyota is still a powerhouse of technological advances. On the Prius, a solar roof can power the interior air vents and keep your car cool for you when parked in the hot sun. The only downside: the car makes a strange whirring sound while venting itself.
UNENDING MILES OF ENVY
THE ENVY IS SPREADING FOR AND WIDE, THANKS TO THE NEW ALTIS DIESEL WITH THE BEST MILEAGE IN ITS CLASS. ITS HIGHLY ACCLAMED D-4D, DIESEL ENGINE, EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE SIX-SPEED TRANSMISSION AND LOW NVH, MAKE EVERY DRIVE A LASTING PLEASURE. AND ITS LEGENDARY TOYOTA QUALITY ONLY FUELS THE ENVY EVEN FURTHER. CALL TO BOOK A TEST DRIVE.
D-4D COMMON RAIL DIESEL ENGINE WITH VARIABLE NOZZLE TURBO AND INTERCOOLER.
6-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION.
AUDIO AND MID CONTROL ON STREEING.

VOLKSWAGEN JETTA
Most of the technology in the Volkswagen Jetta TDI is under the hood, not inside the passenger compartment. This vehicle uses a unique clean diesel engine for the best fuel economy on the road (about 44 mpg) for a non-hybrid sedan. The engine uses an electronically controlled turbo charger and a fuel injection system that more accurately directs fuel to the engine than other vehicles. The exhaust system is so advanced and precisely controlled it is hard to even see the exhaust in the tailpipe
OPEL INSIGNIA-VAUXHALL
Like the BMW 7 Series, the Opel (or Vauxhall) Insignia can read road signs using a camera mounted near the rear-view mirror. For European road signs, the Insignia compares scanned images about 300 meters from the car, at about 30 frame captures per second, against a vast database of legal road signs, then reports this speed to the driver. This helps on long road trips or in conditions where there are too many road signs to track.
MERCEDES BENZ- E 350
Mercedes E-350 cannot read road signs, it is equipped with a similar camera system to the BMW 7 Series in that the car alerts you to pedestrians in the road. Another unusual safety feature: the E-350 can determine if you are driving too long and alert you using an attention assist feature. The car actually uses 70 variables - including how long you have been driving and if you are changing lanes frequently - to determine if the car should get your attention.
TIRE PRESSURE TECHNOLOGY
BMW offers this as standard equipment on all of its models. Sensors at the wheels are able to alert you if the air pressure is too low by an audible warning, a light on the instrument panel, or both. You may also see more cars with run-flat tires (the Corvette, among the current offerings), which allow a vehicle to continue to run at a relatively high rate of speed for 50-plus miles.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has required that all U.S. passenger vehicles weighing 10,000 pounds or less be equipped with a tire-pressure monitoring system by the 2008 model year. But it's already a safety feature in most NEW VEHICLES.

SHORT- RANGE DETECTION SYSTEM OR DETECTING BLIND SPOTS
Latest technology is designed to alert you to cars or objects in your blind spot during driving or parking, or both. Usually it will respond when you put on your turn signal; if it detects something in the way, it may flash a light in your mirror, cause the seat or steering wheel to vibrate, or sound an alarm. This is more of a short-range detection system
DYNAMIC BREAK CONTROL
BMW, for example, refers to it as Dynamic Brake Control.
brake technology is different from an antilock braking system or electronic brakeforce distribution, in that it recognizes when the driver makes a panic stop (a quick shift from gas to brake pedal) and will apply additional brake pressure to help shorten the stopping distance. It may also work in conjunction with the smart cruise control or stability control system in some vehicles if it senses a potential collision.

HEAD LIGHT DISPLAY
An image is generated through a cockpit display, brightening the objects that are hard to see with the naked eye. Adaptive headlights follow the direction of the vehicle (bending the light as you go around corners). They may also be speed-sensitive (changing beam length or height), or compensate for ambient light.
ACCIDENT RESPONSE SYSTEM
ACCIDENT RESPONSE SYSTEM ENHANCED BY DAIMLER CHRYSLERS (EARS) turns on interior lighting, unlocks doors and shuts off fuel when airbags deploy. Volkswagen's also switches on the hazards and disconnects the battery terminal from the alternator. GM's OnStar and BMW Assist both alert their respective response centers of the accident and make crash details available to emergency personnel.
HYUNDAI POWERED BY 4 CYLINDER DIESEL ENGINE
Hyundai product portfolio which has given customers, one more reason to rejoice in this festive season. The SUV has been launched with two trims i.e. 2 WD and 4 WD that will be available via CBU route. Hyundai Santa Fe is powered by a 2.2 litre CRDi, 2199cc, DOHC, 4 cylinder diesel engine that pumps out maximum power of 197 Ps at 3800 rpm and belts out highest torque of 420 Nm at 1800-2500
FUEL FRIENDLY
Fuel efficiency makes sense considering how fickle gas prices are right now. Big trucks and huge SUVs are basically non-existant on the show-room floor, replaced by hybrids and fuel-friendly cars like the newly debuted Nissan Cube, a battery powered electric car, which looks very much like a cube. Surprise!
